Well, my first computer just died during my winter in Mexico. But hey, look on the bright side, it was only a week before Black Friday, or what they call it down here, Bien Fin (and it lasts for 4 days).
I had recently had some work done on my backup Laptop in Canada just before coming down to Mexico, an HP, and my technician told me what he thought of HP's. Not good. He recommended an Acer, Asus or even a Dell or Lenovo. They were much better than HP. Actually he put HP at the bottom of the list for reliability.
I didn't disagree, because I had gotten 5 years out of a used HP, and my 10 year old HP was still running well (knock on wood). Although I had to replace the HDD with an SSD, and clean it up, it was still running well.
So I started investigating Bien Fin sales outlets and prices in Mexico. The best deal I found was an Acer Aspire 15.6 inch, HD laptop with Intel 7 processor and everything else I needed. Having used Windows before, in the back of my mind I knew that if the Windows 10 came in Spanish, it was a simple task to switch over to English. My first mistake.
So I buy the laptop online, and go to Bestbuy to pick it up on the Friday of Bien Fin. The technician unwraps it and gets it fired up, and I ask him to change the language to English. He tries, but says I have to call Microsoft support and have them do it.
Because I wasn't feeling well, food poisoning, I contacted Microsoft support the next morning. I tried to add English as a language myself, but without success. It kept showing only one language, Spanish. Then Microsoft tried and tried to install English for me, without success. He even took remote control of the laptop, but still couldn't do it. This is where I made my second mistake. I should have called Acer right then.
But unfortunately I asked SSS at Microsoft Support what my solution would be. The only thing he recommended was purchasing a full copy of Windows 10 that included English. So, I sign into my Microsoft account and order a Home Version of Windows 10 and try to install it (still trying to use the Spanish language on my PC). Without success, I contacted Microsoft Support again, and they remotely custom installed it for me. Voila, I now had English.
I started downloading my data and other software that I needed for my writing and other ventures, and then realized that some of the links and icons that had originally been on the laptop were no longer there. I finally decided to contact Acer Support and to register the product. Of course I couldn't do this yesterday because the laptop was all in Spanish.
I talked to a very polite, they all are, guy named Christopher S, and he was basically no help whatsoever. I found that I would probably lose everything I had done if he returned my laptop to it's factory settings, and the laptop would also probably revert to Spanish only. This I didn't want. So I vented a little frustration and signed off. Oh, but before I did, Chris wrote me that Acer did NOT sell computers with single languages. Hmmm.
So it is now Sunday, and I'm still pissed about having to spend 211.00 Cdn on a Windows 10 that I already had, except for English. So I double checked the advertisement at Bestbuy to see if I had missed the fact that this laptop was Windows 10 - Spanish only. Nope. There was no mention of this in the advertisement.
Now I contacted Microsoft Support again to see if there was any way to get a refund. I wasn't holding my breath because I sincerely feel that Microsoft is not the problem. Either the staff at Acer was incompetaet, or didn't know or was flat out lying, their laptop did have only one language. I even asked the Acer guy if Acer maybe had a policy to sell single language laptops based on the countries they were sold in. He said no.
Bestbuy could have misled clients with their advertising, or they may not have known. I've hit a wrong button on previous laptops and ended up with everything in French. It was very easy to change the language, and retailers like Bestbuy, may assume (like I did), that Windows 10 includes all languages.
Luckily I got a smoking good deal on the laptop, so the extra 211.00 didn't hurt as much, but the entire process has given me a sour taste with Acer Support. Let's hope their product lasts well, and i 10 years time I will have forgotten about this incident. Oh well, at least I've learned something new - Windows 10 comes in many different models, so make sure to check your operating system before you leave the store.
Oh, forgot to mention, the keyboard is slightly different than the English keyboard, but not a problem. I just registered the product with Acer, and it still lists Windows 10 Home as the operating system, and the only thing that suggests there might be a problem with this unit, is the keyboard is listed as Spanish. Of course, I could only find this out after registering the laptop.

The Solution is The Truth.
I recently wrote a blog asking if the Millenials would contribute to the downfall of Western Society, and I wrote it in a 'not-so-positive' way. I still agree with my suggestions, but I now look on the destruction of Modern Western Society as something that is sorely needed.
I am a member of the Baby Boomer Generation, and I have witnesses the slow death of our, once thought, modern culture since it has been controlled by the sickeningly rich 1 %, otherwise known as the elites. I'll call them 'The Few'. If they are not aliens, then they are the closest thing to what humans perceive as, in general.
Aliens are here to destroy and take over the world. They are here to control the population of the world and watch them kill each other. Some of them even go so far as to harvest humans for their body parts, or worse yet, to eat them. If 'the few' are aliens, they are doing a pretty good job.
I have watched as the rich got richer, they gained control over world finances, world governments, religions and even all forms of media. It is like they have technologies far advanced from normal humans, so much so, they must be from another world or have somehow learned the advanced technology from other worlds. They treat we peasants as just that, stupid peasants.
I know I have felt frustrated watching this slow destruction of our society, and have often wondered what one person could do about it. However, 'The Few' have kept me so busy working and living, that my time to think is short. I consider myself one of the educated poor, that still has a working brain, but am lost for ideas or solutions.
My generation has seen the breakup of the family because 'The Few' have forced both parents to work just to survive. We have watched while giant corporations, or 'Corpses', owned by 'The Few' contaminate and destroy our environment. Greed is what guides the few and the corpses and the governments they control. They have no consideration for peoples lives or the environment, and they think there is nothing we can do about it because they hold all of the financial cards.
This is where the Millenials come in. I once thought that they were unmotivated, and with both parents working and supporting them, even sending them to universities, they have broken away from the control system that 'The Few' have established over many years. They want to keep the population uneducated and so busy working, that they don't have the time or energy to fight back.
Well, guess what, Millenials are educated and are starting to notice just how corrupt the system truly is. And they are connected through the internet and social media, and before too long, something or someone will polarize them to fight against this unfair system, built on corruption and greed.
The Few have even infultrated the education system, trying to keep as many out of colleges and universities by keeping the costs high and out of reach for many. For those students that can afford it, they have stacked the number of professors teaching redundant classes over those actually teaching worthwhile classes. You know like Science, Biology, Law, etc. They have made universities resemble kindergartens moreso than higher learning institutions. If you say anything that could hurt someone elses feelings, they run off to the safe place, and you are ostrocized for your truthfulness.
How does one learn when you cannot speak, and when subjects taught are so benign that no one would ever use the?. When science takes a back seat to feelings, when political correctness trumps the truth. When one group gets more benefits than other groups. When law-abiding citizens are punished, but politicians and bankers and CEO's are not?
I think the downfall of these ultra-rich is already beginning. They are starting wars, placing opposing cultures together inside borders, and spreading false news faster than we can read it. All to distract us from themselves and their corruption. They think they have the social media platforms under their control, and are blocking truthful posts, while allowing hateful posts to continue. They think they have we ignorant peasants totally under control. Perhaps in Middle Eastern societies this is correct, but not in the West and Europe.
But wait, there is this new generation coming up that are technoligically savvy, and well educated (for the most part). They are not highly motivated at this time because they are like the Baby Boomers, and haven't figured out what they can do about it. They know the world financial system is hollow, but owned by a select few. They know that these ultra-rich own the major corporations that are destroying the world. They know that these are the people behind wars and invasions of western countries by terrorists disguised as fleeing immigrants.
They may be frustrated now, but give them a few years, and someone/thing to organize them. Then 'The Few' will discover that they may have tons of money, but they cannot control a population of thinkers. The brain is more powerful than the bank book. The Millenials may be kind and considerate of others feelings, but when push comes to shove, and they are treated unfairly by their leaders, they will revolt.
I just wonder, will I still be alive to see it?

Will Millenials bring the downfall of Western Civilization?
Everyone who has a lick of common sense in the Western World today, knows that it is beginning a fast descent into destruction. Governments are financed by the elite, and the elite are paying them to to create chaos in their respective countries. You can see a perfect example of this by the political systems in North America and Europe. Governments, after promising the moon before the election, once elected seem to do everything in their power to pit one culture against another - keeping none of their promises, and destroying the culture of the country.
The system which was once fair and honorable, is now corrupt and insanely unfair. Take for example, the mass importation of what they call immigrants fleeing war torn countries, who are mostly fighting aged invaders. These invaders are generally uneducated, providing no benefit to the countries they have invaded, while at the same time, sucking the economies of the countries dry. Most have no intention to work or to contribute to the society they have moved to, and absolutely hate the people there.
I have heard that in Germany, the citizens are so ashamed of their countries past digressions, that they feel the least they can do is to accept a culture into their home, a culture that has an absolute hatred for them. Older Germans have passed this self-loathing onto their children. Don't they realize that it was governments and profiteers that created this insanity in the first place? Now the people again pay the ultimate price while the guilty go free.
If I didn't know better, I would say that the entire world is now ruled by either aliens, with no compassion for the population, or perhaps the devil (if he does in fact exist).
Meanwhile, the Millennial's seem to do their best to ignore politics in general, and are so inept in their world views, that they will vote for the man with the biggest smile, or nicest body, or the one who takes pretty selfies with the peons. They believe almost everything the Government Media tell them, and apparently aren't worried about their future, even if Governments corrupt policies will ultimately destroy their amiable lives.
I truly believe this. I recently I had a conversation with a family member who is in their mid-twenties, and truly a Millennial. I can't understand how the values they were taught growing up, are not visible today. This Millennial knows that governments are all corrupt, but still insists that they do not really care who is elected, and don't seem to worry about a politician that breaks all of their election promises.
I know they were taught to treat all people equally, but when they see the opposite of this in today's world, they shrug. They seem to think that just because one group was mistreated in the past, that they should receive special treatment now and in the future. Throw fairness out with the bathwater, and create a culture of 'I deserve' and 'poor me'.
Perhaps they feel that whatever they do, will not affect the way the corrupt system works. They seem to feel helpless in changing anything, even going so far as to explain that if it hasn't directly affected them, it is of no consequence. But really, what can anyone do with such a corrupt system that rewards lying and stealing politicians?
Who do we blame for the Millennial's train wreck of reason? Our education system, parents, society, the media, who? Will their ignorance contribute to the downfall of capitalism and common sense? Time will tell.

Are alien invaders or demons already controlling humaniity?
I don't know, but it sure seem like something inhuman is in control. The ultra rich (the 1 %) that own almost everything in the world, are either demons or not human, and have no respect for the earth or human beings. Call them what you will, The Fortune 500 Club, the New World Order, or whatever, but they DO control every facet of society.
The world has an abundance of food, yet they would see it thrown in the trash rather than feed those starving in poor countries. Sickness kills millions yet they would rather create and sell expensive pharmaceuticals, than actually cure diseases.
They start wars, pitting religion against religion or culture against culture, then supply arms to both sides to make double the profits. Then they move in and take over the oil, gas, gold or silver that has become the spoils of war that they created; leaving the warring countries destitute, and in need of financial assistance - which they then provide at astronomical interest rates.
They own all of the big corporations that are raping the earth, the world's governments and the media. They are able to spin their blatant corruption into humanitarianism and political correctness, and we, the sheep, fall for their lies. Hell, we even fight wars on their behalf.
They have control of the world's financial institutions, lending world governments money, thus establishing financial domination over them. These idiotic governments spend taxpayers hard-earned money on their own special interests. These owned governments even go so far as to use imaginary credit cards, spending money they don't have, putting their own people and future generations into unsolvable debt.
They either own, or force governments to give them access to, all that countries natural resources, and then sell them back at exorbitant prices. Forests in Canada are now owned by them, and instead of using the resource to benefit the country, they ship it overseas.
They convince governments with abundant water, that water is a commodity that belongs to no one particular country, and get millions of gallons for mere cents. Then they bottle it and sell it back to them or to other needy countries at huge profits.
How can so few control so much? When did it all begin? Did it begin with Kings and Queens? Was it a slow takeover, or did it take years or centuries? Is this a God vs. Devil war, or is the earth being harvested in some way by aliens? If it is aliens, perhaps this might explain the millions of human disappearances over the past 20 years or so. What can we do to stop them?

If Justin Trudeau was your employee on probation, would you keep him?
Justin has make a mockery of Canada and Canadians. He is importing voters from the Middle East like there is no tomorrow, and even ensuring immigrant citizens that have gone overseas to fight against Canadian values retain their citizenship. Gotta keep those voters happy.
His government has made a total mess of world trade, thus increasing the welfare lines even further. Not to mention the last round of Middle Eastern immigrants that are sucking up our welfare system to the tune of $50,000 a year per family, and of course, their free housing and other benefits.
He has continued to fund billions to the Aboriginal Community, keeping them dependent on the government and taking away any honour they once may have had.
He calls Quebecker's the only true Canadians, and all others just guests. The CBC is under his thumb, and the only news we get is 'no news', or 'Liberal news'.
He has given away billions of taxpayers hard earned dollars to other corrupt countries (and even dollars that Canada doesn't have), placing all working Canadians further in debt for generations to come.
As for his election promises, he has accomplished (well, almost) only one thing that comes to mind. He is close to legalizing marijuana. I am guessing he is trying to stack the deck in his favor for the next election. Let's see, the Aboriginals are paid off, Quebeccer's are happy, Middle East immigrants are well paid off too, he is putting thousands of Canadians on welfare, and the ones not on welfare will be so stoned they will vote for anyone with a cute smile that has legalized their favorite drug.
He has created bigotry, racism and dissension throughout this once great country, and with George Soros' help, he just might get re-elected, unless the last sane citizens in Canada get out and vote him out of office. Call me ignorant or racist, but if it was up to me, I would fire him for incompetency. Of course most of the Millennial's and Gay's think he is a ray of 'sunshine'.

Political Correctness and Humanitarian Complacency identify with their rights, but what about my rights?
Murderers getting slapped on the wrist; religious fanatics able to throw gays off roofs, throw acid in faces, drive cars through innocent pedestrians and rape minors; gays parading down the street displaying vulgarity; governments working for private interests and not society; transvestites portrayed as normal and allowed to enter women's washrooms; creating wars over natural resources in other countries; when will it end?
Political correctness has extended it's tentacles to personal choice. We can no longer complain about unfairness in their bigoted system with ourselves being labelled bigots or racists; although it is they that are the bigots and racists. In many cases in Canada, we can no longer criticize a particular religion that has been imported into our country, and that holds beliefs in total contradiction of our Canadian values. And if sane Canadians speak up, they can be imprisoned, not the real criminals. But the young (and our idiot PM) feel sorry for these poor unfortunate barbarians, bleeding our welfare system and preying on our population.
We have opened female washrooms to men that dress up like women (their mental stability is still in question), which can thus be opened to any pervert that puts on a dress. And our young society cries for the transvestites, not the raped children in female washrooms.
We have a leader in Canada that leads gay parades down the streets. The parades with half-clothed men and women vulgarly displaying sexual motions as they strut their stuff down the streets in front of everyone, including children. And our young feel sorry for them and tell you to turn off the TV, or go somewhere else so you don't have to watch.
Murderers are considered to have 'mental disorders' and thus, they are only partially responsible for their grotesque actions. The poor person had parents with drug problems, were physically or mentally abused, or possibly just unfairly treated by society. Without jobs or income or even a place to call home. Poor, poor mistreated people. And our young feel sorry for them and give them light sentences so that they can get out of jail early and do it again.
Our governments start wars over gold, silver, oil, trees, or whatever else can make them a profit. People sit back and do nothing, oh, except vote. Too bad all the politicians are as corrupt as each other, and voting for another produces the same results. But people want their oil and gold and silver, and they let them get away with it. Shit, some are so stupid that they go fight the wars for these pigs, while the politicians sit back and watch. OMG, I think our young are finally starting to wake up to corrupt governments, albiet, they have let the corrupt news (owned by the corrupt leaders) convince them that one good politician is bad, and all the others are good. God help us.
Raping and even marrying minors, having multiple wives, considering a woman 1/2 the value of a man, honor killings, throwing gays from rooftops, driving cars through innocent pedestrians; well these people are just misguided. We should bring them into our country (a country where our beliefs are sane and not barbaric), and we will psychologically try to change them. OMG, what a joke.
The world is on the edge of a deadly precipice, where evil is pushing good over the edge. And the good have become so forgiving and complacent, they will succeed unless they develop a backbone and start fighting back.
Political correctness has extended it's tentacles to personal choice. We can no longer complain about unfairness in their bigoted system with ourselves being labelled bigots or racists; although it is they that are the bigots and racists. In many cases in Canada, we can no longer criticize a particular religion that has been imported into our country, and that holds beliefs in total contradiction of our Canadian values. And if sane Canadians speak up, they can be imprisoned, not the real criminals. But the young (and our idiot PM) feel sorry for these poor unfortunate barbarians, bleeding our welfare system and preying on our population.
We have opened female washrooms to men that dress up like women (their mental stability is still in question), which can thus be opened to any pervert that puts on a dress. And our young society cries for the transvestites, not the raped children in female washrooms.
We have a leader in Canada that leads gay parades down the streets. The parades with half-clothed men and women vulgarly displaying sexual motions as they strut their stuff down the streets in front of everyone, including children. And our young feel sorry for them and tell you to turn off the TV, or go somewhere else so you don't have to watch.
Murderers are considered to have 'mental disorders' and thus, they are only partially responsible for their grotesque actions. The poor person had parents with drug problems, were physically or mentally abused, or possibly just unfairly treated by society. Without jobs or income or even a place to call home. Poor, poor mistreated people. And our young feel sorry for them and give them light sentences so that they can get out of jail early and do it again.
Our governments start wars over gold, silver, oil, trees, or whatever else can make them a profit. People sit back and do nothing, oh, except vote. Too bad all the politicians are as corrupt as each other, and voting for another produces the same results. But people want their oil and gold and silver, and they let them get away with it. Shit, some are so stupid that they go fight the wars for these pigs, while the politicians sit back and watch. OMG, I think our young are finally starting to wake up to corrupt governments, albiet, they have let the corrupt news (owned by the corrupt leaders) convince them that one good politician is bad, and all the others are good. God help us.
Raping and even marrying minors, having multiple wives, considering a woman 1/2 the value of a man, honor killings, throwing gays from rooftops, driving cars through innocent pedestrians; well these people are just misguided. We should bring them into our country (a country where our beliefs are sane and not barbaric), and we will psychologically try to change them. OMG, what a joke.

Has the NWO's agenda switched to a much more agressive tactic?
We've all heard the rumors that there is an ultra-rich group of people in the world that have so much money and power that their reality is about as far away from mere mortals as possible. Their ultimate goal is to secretly change the world and it's governance to one under their sole control, oh, and at the same time, reduce the world population to 1 billion; a decrease of almost 80 percent.
They have been called things like the Illuminati, the skulls, etc., but one thing we know for sure is that they have profited over the centuries through wars, coercion of governments, and the rape of the earth's natural resources. Over the past century or so, they have tried to install left-leaning Liberal Governments throughout the world. Liberals are far more inclined to be influenced by tactics of fear, greed and racism.
It appears that over the past 10 years or so, their tactics have become far more aggressive. Through financial sponsorship, they are currently pushing their Liberal puppets into accepting a culture from the East that is completely incompatible with Western Christian Cultures. Friction is now beginning to hit Europe, Canada and, to some extent, the USA. Anyone who does not agree with this cultural invasion is quickly labelled 'racist', 'bigot', and in some cases, even harassed and prosecuted.
Not only is this often barbaric culture being forced on peaceful citizens of Europe and the West, laws are being changed to allow it to be continued and even fast-tracked. It is absolutely amazing that the common man has not figured this out yet.
We are told that to change this, we must get out and vote. But what does one do when all the major candidates are owned, and even though their election platforms may vary slightly, once elected, all is thrown out the window, and they then follow the same NWO agenda? Are we lost?
