I have to apologize to Americans/Canadians in Lake Chapala, Mexico

I recently returned from a 10 day visit to Lake Chapala in the Mexican State of Jalisco.  My good friend has two homes in San Antonio and we had to clean/repair them for new renters.  If you know the Lake Chapala area and it's various communities at all, you will know that many American and Canadian expatriots live there during the winter months, and some all year.

Well, during conversations with his new renter, and numerous other potential renters, the topic of where I live in Mexico always seemed to pop up.  Of course, I live in Cuernavaca, in central Mexico, and when asked why I chose that city over, say, Lake Chapala, my response was always the same.

If I wanted to be with Canadians and Americans, I would return to Canada or the USA, and not move to Lake Chapala.  I was always met with disdaining looks at this response, and I knew why.  These sometimes arrogant visitors to Mexico (in this community particularly) want to force their culture on their new home in Mexico, while at the same time, change all the rules and regulations of the community to be more accommodating to themselves.

Of course, the Mexicans in the Chapala area just laugh at them and their ridiculous rules, and basically ignore them.  Luckily these expatriots band together in their gated communities for safety from the locals, and their rules don't really affect the local population at all.  I guess it is kind of like a bunch of Mexicans or Muslims moving to the USA or Canada, living in their own neighborhoods, and trying to force their religion or culture on them.  Oh, that is already happening with the Muslim invasion, isn't it?

Anyway, I apologize to my American and Canadian friends in the Chapala area.  You are all probably really nice people, but when I visit a foreign country, I kind of like to meet the people of that country and experience their individual culture and maybe actually travel a little.  I've seen most of Mexico already, and I find the people the most friendly and welcoming of any other country I have visited.

So it's nothing against you and it was an absolute pleasure meeting you.  I'll see you when I head back north in the Spring, or on my next visit to Ajiijic and the Casa de la Waffles.

Plea from a 16 year old German girl...Please Help us.

I know I promised I would stop posting negative items, but I saw this today and had to post before it is shut down by the German Government or News Services throughout the world.

I hope every European parent with young children sees this and takes whatever steps necessary to protect their families and force the Governments to wake up. I am disgusted, and I don't even live in Germany.

To all the bleeding heart Liberals out there...

When hearts really start bleeding and your children are raped because of your ill-informed support for immigrants from terrorist countries, what if you are the first in line to receive your JUST reward?  The question is - Will you still be liberal then?  Watch this.

Muslims vs. Christians - no contest in today's world...

Okay, this is my last (ha ha) post on the problems we face in the world today.  As the title suggests, in today's world, there is absolutely no contest in the fight between Islam and Christianity.  Islam will win, hands down.  Why?

1. Christians believe they should love thy neighbor, and Muslims will take advantage of this, move in, then kill them because they are infidels.
2. Christians believe they should turn the other cheek.  This allows Muslims to do all sorts of atrocities to non-Muslims, because Christians keep forgiving and forgiving....
3. The Christian leaders are weak and corrupted in many cases, and so are their flocks.  Many flock to Christianity because they are afraid to deal with problems on their own.  Muslims are the same, but Islam has strong and fanatical leaders, and ferociously keep their members towing the line.
4. Christianities only plan is to promise people everlasting life if they accept God.  Muslims promise the same, but also men will get a bunch of virgins in heaven if they kill infidels.
5. The Bible can be interpreted many ways, but generally always in a way promoting goodness.  The Quran can also be interpreted many ways, but the people interpreting it are mostly fanatics that want Islam throughout the entire world, no matter how many Christian and other non-Muslim lives it costs.  Therefore their interpretation tend to promote slavery and decimation.
6. Government leaders in the Christian world generally separate the state from religion, while at the same time promoting the Bibles liberal teachings.  Although peoples rights have been diminished a little at a time over the past years, the public is still living in comfort.  Islam integrates the state with religion, and with that power and the wars it creates, it is able to spread to non-Muslim countries with great ease.  Also, Government leaders in the West are greedily interfering in Muslim problems, thus opening the door for retaliation.
7. Even if you compare all the other religions in the world, they are mostly peaceful like Christianity.  Muslims are just the opposite, and thrive on the oppression of others (including it's own members) and killing all that stand in it's way.  Not only that, but it has the ability to destroy all in it's path, and at the same time, make Christians feel guilty or racist for calling them on their atrocities.
8. Christ was a fair and humble man, helping all those he came in contact with.  Mohammad lied to, killed, tortured and dominated all those he came in contact with.  End of story.

As a footnote.  I believe the only two things these two religions have in common is their philosophy on gays, and that it has taken man to distort their original teachings; but mixing Christianity with Islam is like mixing water with oil.

Philosophy of the Harmonious Pomegranates.

The four great philosophies of the Harmonious Pomegranates:

1. All members will live side by side, displaying harmony and friendship, as do the seeds of the pomegranate.
2.  The laws of all lands will be changed to distribute wealth from the few, to everyone in the pomegranate, equally.  Every seed will have the ability to grow and flourish together, and only wise and enlightened seeds can become leaders.
3. Music, Art and Creativity will be in abundance, so that all in the seeds will have the opportunity to relax and grow after a hard day of work.  The Ukulele will become the core instrument of the pomegranate community, and Ukulele Bands will flourish everywhere; yet all other musical instruments will be gloriously accepted and welcomed.
4. Anyone can be a part of the pomegranate, but any sour seeds will be removed and sent to a place of isolation, whereby they can only return if they truly become enlightened and do not attempt to spoil the harmony of the other seeds.

Pomegranates sincerely hope that all other religions will adopt these philosophies and join this wondrous, yet somewhat fruity, movement.

This blog has now been taken over by the pomegranates, and new converts messages will be gladly posted, as long as they meet the criteria of the above four great philosophies.

Xmas is fast approaching and I think it is time to seriously think about religion...

Religion, when mixed with politics, has had a devastating effect on the sanity of the world.  The religious writings themselves generally promote peace and love, but many fanatics have taken these writings completely out of context, and used them to promote their own distorted form of greed and power mongering.

Christians are no better than Muslims in many ways, and both can stand accused of atrocities, particularly when they are not only the one religion, but also control the government.  We have seen this in the Crusades, the witch hunts of America, and now in the terrorism of the Middle East working it's way West.  Religions prey on the weak, the sick and the poor; and in doing so, have the ability to make a sane person perform insane acts.

I would like to see nothing better than all churches and religious organizations disbanded, and replaced with individual spirituality.  We would no longer have rich and powerful religious organizations trying to influence governments and control both the citizens and it's members.  I truly believe that if people are left to their own beliefs, they will love their neighbors and treat others as they would like to be treated.

I suspect there would also be fewer wars because governments would not be able to use religion as a means to promote hatred.  But alas, I am just dreaming.

I'm sure I'll go to Hell for this, but...

I think all religions are a farce.  The only thing they accomplish is leading the sick and helpless down their path of lies and deceit.  Their one goal apparently is to get rich and/or powerful; and many of them are succeeding quite well.

The Catholics (which my grandmother was a lifelong member) are probably the richest today, and their power is enormous.  To accomplish this, the church joined with various governments to force their religion on a multitude of other smaller countries than Italy.  It is unknown how many sinners were killed by them in the past, but I'm sure the number is phenomenal.  They tend to keep a relatively low profile in today's world, but their influence is still strong.

I've heard that Muslims of today, in many cases, are a peaceful people.  However, their teachings seem to instruct them that all non- believers are infidels and that the world should only have one true religion, theirs.  Some fanatical groups have broken off, and have interpreted their Quran to say that all infidels, or non-believers, should be killed.  They seem to be doing a pretty good job today of setting this in motion and stealing the 'domination spotlight' away from Catholics.

I don't know if it is just me, but I believe in some higher power, and I believe this power would want me to help others and to love my fellow human beings.  However, I do this privately in most cases, and have never been good at following like a sheep.  I just can't seem to be able to give up my own personal beliefs, and follow some religion that wants my money and my complete dedication to whatever cause they believe in.  My cause must by MY cause.

I look upon religious leaders as deceitful and corrupt, and the people that blindly follow them as helpless fools, in most cases.  A person must have very little self-worth to give up their life for some religions fanatic. All religions use false promises (well, I suspect they are false), to get their members to follow their various rules.  If you follow Jesus's word, you will get to heaven;  if you follow your imam and kill infidels, you will be given many virgins from Allah; if you protect cows, you will be accepted as a good Hindu; etc.

I guess I just mistrust religious and political leaders.  I also don't trust the news about what is going on in the world anymore because most of the news outlets are controlled by big business/banks, who are buying politicians, who are then dragging innocent people into wars, who are then being mislead about what is really happening in the world.  Let's face it, religions and governments are all about money, not our souls.

If anyone knows of an honest religion our there, please let me know.  I would truly love to believe in something again.  Until then, I'll just shake my head whenever I see someone blindly following a religion or religious practice. Of course, if there is in fact a true heaven and the promises are true, where do I line up to pay my way in like everyone else.
